Super Bomb Survival Hardcore Guide

Hardcore is Super Bomb Survival’s self-imposed glass cannon. It is not a separate queue. You toggle it in settings after you have enough wins, then every public or VIP round you play in that state runs with about 35 max HP and every Perk disabled. Wings, Unshakeable, Treasurer, Panic Shield, Last Chance — all off. You play Skills only. This page is the dedicated Hardcore guide the guides hub used to bury inside Intensity notes.

There are still no promo codes that unlock Hardcore early. Do not paste Twitter strings. See the codes hub.

Unlock and the settings trap

This wiki’s working number is 50 wins to unlock Hardcore, matching older Fandom and badge text for Hardcore Hierophant. After v4.0, at least one player reported they could not turn Hardcore off until they had around 40 wins to even open the setting. Treat the toggle as win-gated in both directions. Do not enable Hardcore on a fresh account “to learn faster.” You will donate 2:30 and slow your Credit farm.

You cannot flip Hardcore mid-round. If a friend cannot disable it, they are gated by wins, not by a broken slider — wait, then play vanilla.

What actually changes

RuleLive effect
Max HP~35 (100 minus 65)
PerksAll disabled, including both slots if you own Second Perk Slot
WingsOff. No glide, no Crystal / Aurora / Bubble Wings
Last Chance / Panic ShieldOff. One mistake is a death
CreditsExtra +0.5x Win Multiplier while Hardcore is on (Fandom). Farm tables that say ×1.25 are describing the same bump
Intensity pushHardcore winners shove the cube about 0.15 instead of 0.1
BadgesHardcore (+5 Gems), Hardcore Hero (10 wins, +5), Hardcore Hierophant (100 wins, +100 Gems)badges

Second Skill Slot still works because it is a Skill slot, not a Perk. v4.01’s in-arena Loadout equip still applies Skills before the round starts. Perks on that Loadout simply do nothing until you toggle Hardcore off.

Skills that still make sense

The loadout planner Row 4 is the short list. Expand it here:

  • Forcefield — still the default. 35 HP means you cannot tank a classic bomb the way vanilla Unshakeable players do.
  • Heal / Healing Pulse / Heartflower / Drumsticks — the only way to climb off 35. Older Christmas farm guides named Healing Pulse, Drumsticks, and Heartflower as the Hardcore grind set because they print Skill Points while topping HP.
  • Bubble Barrier — a panic wall when Forcefield is on cooldown.
  • Hover or Warp — mobility without Wings. Hover is safer than Bubble Ride here because you cannot bring Unshakeable.
  • Belly Drum (v4.01)do not. It halves current HP and kills you at 10. Hardcore starts at 35. Drum is a vanilla lab Skill, not a Hardcore button. Catalog: skills list.

PvP off. One Self-Destruct in a 35 HP lobby is grief, not content.

The video in the middle is 9voltage’s Hardcore 5.0 guide. Intensity numbers moved — Super Intense is locked 6.0 now — but the HP/Perk rules in that video still match the live toggle. After it, do not queue Hardcore 6.0 until vanilla 6.0 is easy. Read survive 6.0 first.

Hardcore 6.0 is a lab, not a farm

Public 4.0 Hardcore with Heal is a Credit method if you already own Triple Coin and can finish 2:30. Public 6.0 Hardcore is how people hunt clips and the Hierophant badge. Grimbells ignore Forcefield either way. Events still fire: a rift on Hardcore 6.0 can still become 10.0 with 35 HP and no Unseen. That is a wipe, not a challenge. Event tactics: events guide.

Farm math: you gain the Hardcore multiplier only if you survive. Dying at 0:28 for So Close!! deletes the survive ×1.5 and the Hardcore slice. Play cowardly. Pick coins that sit on your path; do not dive purple under a Nuke. Full coin table: farm Credits.

Private servers

VIP consoles (20 Robux/month) can lock 6.0 and stretch round timers. That is the honest place to practice Hardcore 6.0, not a random public Super Intense lobby that also has Dimension Rift turned up after v4.00.6. Console extras shipped in the v4.0 update.

Scripts that claim “god mode for Hardcore” are listed as dead claims on auto farm. A 35 HP account is not the one you want banned.

Toggle Hardcore for a badge or a payout bump you can actually finish. Leave it off while you still need Unshakeable to learn bomb language.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Super Bomb Survival questions.

How do I unlock Hardcore in Super Bomb Survival?

Win enough rounds (this wiki uses 50). The settings toggle is win-gated. Do not buy a fake “Hardcore code” — none exist on the codes hub.

Do Perks work in Hardcore?

No. Both Perk slots are disabled. Skills only. See the perks catalog for what you are giving up, then the loadout planner Row 4.

Is Hardcore 6.0 a good farm?

No. Farm public 4.0 with Perks on using farm Credits. Hardcore 6.0 is a badge/lab queue.

Can I use Belly Drum on Hardcore?

You can equip it. You should not. It spends HP you do not have. v4.01 notes: v4.01 patch.
