How to Survive Intensity 6.0

Intensity is Super Bomb Survival’s hidden difficulty slider. Public servers start near 3.0, climb when the lobby wins, and drop when it wipes. 4.0+ is tagged Intense and starts swapping in High Intensity bomb variants. 6.0 is Super Intense: locked servers since early 2024, no 5.1–5.9 stepping stones, and a palette that would rather spawn Destroyers, Huge Bombs, giant meteors, and Grimbells than give you a fair classic bomb. 10.0 is a Dimensional Rift modifier on top of 6.0, not a public queue.

This page is the “how to survive” and “how to beat 6.0” guide. Pair it with beat bombs, the events guide for rift 10.0, the Hardcore guide if Perks are off, and the intensity planner. Casual S-tier lists from other sites still rank Panic Shield and Wings highly; the 6.0 notes disagree, and this wiki follows the 6.0 notes when they conflict.

How Intensity actually moves

  • Winners push Intensity up by about 0.1 (Hardcore players 0.15).
  • You can buy +1.0 for 6 Gems or −1.0 for 8 Gems in the shop.
  • VIP server owners lock 6.0 on the arcade console for free, change round length, and pick maps without the 3-Gem fee.
  • 6.0 Hero (100 wins at 6.0) pays 100 Gems. Fearless is the first 6.0 win.

If a public server is sitting at 3.2 and you want Super Intense, you are in the wrong queue. Join a Super Intense server or a VIP box. The getting started guide is for 3.0 lobbies; do not bring a fresh Bomb + Super Jump kit here.

Loadouts that still work

The mid-article video is Eternal Light’s 6.0 kit. After you watch it, treat these as the default survival Skills:

  • Forcefield — 3s at level 1, 6s at 2/3, Supercharge becomes a long Magic Shield. It eats lava and homing hits. It does not eat Grimbells or a typical Glitch Nuke roll.
  • Hover — roughly 8.5s of air. Level 3 gains height. Combine with Air Dash (“Hover Dashing”) if you own the Second Perk Slot.
  • Bubble Ride — sit in a bubble, float on lava. Unshakeable is mandatory so you can steer. Level 3 is about 10s duration / 20s cooldown.
  • Platform and Truss — spawn floor when the map is gone. Unflashy, extremely honest.
  • Warp — place a point on the last island, teleport when a Destroyer siren starts.

Leave Offense at home unless you are farming Skill Points with PvP on. Self-Destruct on 6.0 is a highlight clip, not a win rate. Belly Drum (v4.01) halves current HP and will execute you at 10 HP — Super Intense is the wrong place to test it. Lava Sponge can rebuild a tile in lava; it is a movement Skill, not a shield.

Perks

  • Unseen (5,000 Credits) — homing rockets, Wingseekers, Zombombs, and zombies ignore you. If you insist on Wings, this is the tax.
  • Unshakeable — Bubble Ride steering and trip immunity.
  • Fireproof — lava ticks 15 every 1.2s instead of 30 every 0.3s.
  • Double Jump versus Air Dash — Double Jump is safer height; Air Dash is faster and easier to throw into lava. The Air Dash vs Double Jump debate is the whole perk page.
  • Heavyweight — less knockback, can shove Destroyers.
  • Shock Absorb — electric explosions refund cooldown; overuse then locks you out.

Wings without Unseen: the current 6.0 advice is “do not.” Wingseekers were buffed. Crystal, Aurora, Hallow, and Bubble Wings are still excellent on 4.0 public with Unseen, and Bubble Wings (v4.0) skip break damage at the cost of a bubble trap. Details on the perks catalog.

Copy-paste sets live on best loadouts and the loadout planner. Namu’s Bubble Ride + Unshakeable core is the no-Wings default. Forcefield + Double Jump is the i-frame default. Hover + Air Dash is the stall default.

What 6.0 does to bombs

Unlike 5.0, most High Intensity variants do not apply on 6.0. Instead the palette leans into Huge Nuke, Destroyer, Mega Nuke, Ultimate Destroyer, Glitch Nuke, Huge Bombs, giant meteors, and more Grimbells with larger radius. Homing Rockets can carry bombs, including Destroyers. Grimseeker is a homing Grimbell; Golden Grimseeker is a 10.0 / rift closer.

Rules that keep you alive:

  1. Look for the Nuke siren and the red line. Move off the island, do not Forcefield-greedy the blast unless you know the type.
  2. Treat every Grimbell as an instant fail even through shields. Disarm enlarges Grimbells. Walk away.
  3. Do not camp caves waiting for Pickaxe coins; 6.0 collapses caves.
  4. Disable PvP. You are not here for Skill Points.
  5. If the floor is gone, Hover / Bubble / Platform. Sprinting on one-stud remnants is how So Close!! happens.

Hardcore and 10.0

Hardcore unlocks at 50 wins, sets max HP to about 35, disables both Perk slots, and pays about +0.5x (Fandom) or +25% Credits while alive (Namu). Skills still work. Heal, Forcefield, and Bubble Barrier become the whole kit. Do not toggle Hardcore on a 6.0 server unless you already have Fearless.

10.0 appears from a Dimensional Rift event on Super Intense or a rare cyan rift icon. Homing Nukes and Hyper Nukes (unique sounds as of v4.02) plus Grimseeker mid-round and Golden Grimseeker in the last 30 seconds. Forcefield is “absolute necessity” here. Badges: Riftbreaker (1 win), Ten 10 (10 wins).

Farm Gems for 6.0 buy-ins with the farming guide. Learn individual bomb tells on beat bombs. Then come back and run the same loadout for a week instead of rerolling every death.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Super Bomb Survival questions.

How do I queue Super Intense 6.0?

Join a Super Intense server or lock 6.0 on a VIP console. Public Intensity usually caps at 5.0. The intensity planner lists the gem costs.

Does Forcefield save me from Grimbells?

No. Grimbells ignore shields and Last Chance. Disarm makes them worse. See beat bombs.

Are Wings good on 6.0?

Only with Unseen. Otherwise Wingseekers delete you. Prefer Hover or Bubble Ride plus Unshakeable from the perk tier list.

What is Intensity 10.0?

A rift modifier on 6.0, not a separate slider. Homing/Hyper Nukes and Golden Grimseeker. Covered with events on the v4.0 update page.
