Super Bomb Survival v4.02.0 Patch Notes
Polyhex’s 26 August 2026 follow-up, plus the hotfixes that landed the same week.
v4.02.0 shipped 26 August 2026. Polyhex wrote: 3 new Badges, a new Perk to find, new bomb Darters from Sky’s Bomb Survival, unique sounds for Hyper and Homing Nukes, plus bug fixes and tweaks. The Roblox experience still showed “Updated 8/26/2026” the same week. This page is only that follow-up. Belly Drum, Lava Sponge, and the two maps are v4.01. The 21 August launch is v4.0. Three new badges
Polyhex did not list the three titles in the tweet. Chase the toast after the round; do not invent names here. The Gem-paying club that still matters is Super Explorer, 6.0 Hero, Super Collector, Hardcore Hierophant, Nuclear Rank — how to get badges. When Fandom rows the three v4.02 names, they land on that guide first.
“A new Perk to find”
The tweet used that exact phrase. It is probably a hidden / event / map Perk, not a Survival Shop row with a Credit sticker. This wiki will not guess the name, cost, or whether it is a Wings variant. When the string is public it goes on the perks list. Until then, do not pay Discord for “Perk to find coords.”
v4.0 already added two Perks at launch (Bubble Wings is the documented one). Do not collapse those two and this v4.02 find into one row.
Darters
Darters are a Sky’s Bomb Survival import. No public damage / fuse card in the patch tweet. Play them as a new small threat in the crossover palette. Catalog stub: bombs list. Movement answer until labs post numbers: treat like other chase/volley junk — do not stand still, do not test Expert’s Touch on one next to a Grimbell.
Grimseeker / Golden Grimseeker / Bass Destroyer remain event names from the v4.0 seven, not v4.02 palette trash. Events guide.
Hyper and Homing Nuke sounds
Audio-only change, huge in practice. Homing Nukes are not Disarmable and belong to rift / 10.0 rounds. Unique stings mean you should already be in a Forcefield window or off the island. Beat bombs. v4.00.6 made Dimension Rift more common on Super Intense, so more players hear these stings in publics, not only VIP labs.
Hotfixes around v4.02.x
Polyhex marked Gift Wrap wrapping a specific NPC (“gup” dog) as fixed in v4.00.9. Later v4.02.2 / v4.02.3 notes exist as hotfix traffic the same week (secondary-slot Wrap reports, shop oddities, Double Jump versus Wings/Air Dash chatter). If a Skill still bricks after wrapping something cute, swap Loadout in the arena (v4.01) and file it as a live bug, not a wiki mechanic.
Double Jump + Wings / Air Dash “does this still work” was asked on day one of v4.0. Do not take a random reply as patch text. Test on a VIP console or wait for Polyhex.
Loadout impact
- Do not rebuild your 6.0 row around Darters until someone sources a tell.
- Do not chase the mystery Perk instead of Unseen / Unshakeable / Fireproof.
- Do not spend Gems forcing rifts just to hear Homing audio. Super Intense after v4.00.6 will offer them anyway.
- Scripts hooked to the old shop remain dead — scripts hub.
Queue the live build. If your toast says a badge name this page does not have yet, that is expected. Come back after Fandom catches the string, not after a codes list promises Gems.
One-line verdict: v4.02 is audio, a hidden Perk, three unnamed badges, and Darters. The Roblox page still shows 15-player publics and 218 million visits. Intensity did not get a 7.0 queue. If you heard a new Nuke sting in Super Intense, that is the patch working — play the events guide and keep Unshakeable on unless you are in Hardcore.
