Super Bomb Survival Getting Started Guide

How to play Super Bomb Survival on Roblox before Intensity ruins the floor.

Getting Started in Super Bomb Survival

Super Bomb Survival is a 15-player Roblox arena where the only win condition is being alive after 2 minutes 30 seconds. Polyhex launched it on 29 June 2014; v4.0 in August 2026 rebuilt the shop and added a Sky’s Bomb Survival crossover, but the first hour is still the same: vote a map, do not stand under beeping cylinders, pick up coins, and spend Credits on a Skill that moves or defends.

This page is the onboarding guide. If you already clear public 3.0 rounds, skip to Intensity 6.0 or the skills tier list. If you searched for codes, the honest answer is on the codes hub: there are none.

Step 1 — Lobby before the vote

You spawn in the lobby, not the arena. Coins fall from the ceiling here too, so walk around instead of idling in the vote booth. Bananas in the playground grant extra Credits. The arcade is optional. Find:

  • The map vote — three random maps from a pool of 140+. Click one. The maps catalog explains Super Explorer and the 3-Gem “choose this map” button.
  • The intensity cube — public servers usually start near 3.0 and climb when people win. 4.0+ is Intense. 6.0 is Super Intense and mostly lives on dedicated servers or VIP consoles. Use the intensity planner once you care.
  • The Survival Shop — Skills, Perks, Boosts, Passes, Packs, Loadouts. v4.01 lets a Loadout apply Skills even if you are already standing in the arena waiting for the round.

Step 2 — Your free kit

Every new account owns Super Jump (Movement) and Bomb (Offense). Super Jump works in midair and is enough to escape early TNT crates and classic bombs. Bomb is a six-beep throw that will not carry you through 5.0. Press F on PC or the star button on mobile to fire the equipped Skill. Ragdoll is always available and is a joke button until a Discombobulator or bubble hits you for real — controls lists the binds.

Health starts at 100. Lava under the map now ticks damage instead of instantly killing (since v3.17.7), which is why Fireproof matters later. PvP is on by default; you can disable it in settings if you only want to dodge the environment, at the cost of some Credit payout.

Step 3 — Play the round like a coward

The video below is a general gameplay pass. After it, the rest of this page tells you what to buy.

Watch the fuse, not the skybox. Classic bombs beep six times. Pressure bombs and TNT crates are greedier. When the floor holes out, Super Jump onto remaining islands rather than sprinting through fire tiles. Collect copper (3 Credits), silver (5), and gold (10) only when the path is safe — coins deal contact damage as they fall. Survive the full timer for the ×1.5 survive multiplier. Dying in the last 30 seconds awards the So Close!! badge and nothing else you wanted.

Events can interrupt the “just dodge” plan: coin rain, UFOs, missiles, pianos, zombies, bubbles, or the v4 rift that can push a 6.0 round into 10.0. If an Event Icon drops, you can leave it. Spending 25 Gems to force an event is a mid-game decision, not a tutorial one.

Step 4 — First shop purchase

Do not roll Offense three times. Your first Credit pile should buy a Defense or Movement Skill you do not own. The shop is a roulette inside the category, so you might receive Heal, Forcefield, Hover, Warp, Super Dash, or Platform instead of the exact name you wanted. That is fine. Anything that creates i-frames, flight, or geometry will save more rounds than another bomb.

Perk priority for a new account is cheap and obvious: Unshakeable (700 Credits) stops ragdolls, Treasurer (800) shows coins through walls, Big Saver (800) turns coins into health, Last Chance or Panic Shield (900) give you one mistake. Save Crystal Wings and Aurora Wings until you also own Unseen — Wingseekers hunt flyers on high Intensity. Details live on the perks catalog and perks tier list.

Step 5 — Build a real loadout

Once you have one decent Skill and one Perk, stop randomising every round. Use a Loadout slot, then copy a known pair from best loadouts or the loadout planner:

  • Forcefield + Double Jump (or Last Chance)
  • Hover + Air Dash
  • Bubble Ride + Unshakeable

Disable PvP until you enjoy fighting. Then look at the skills catalog for Cold Snap, Disarm, Blast Force, and the v4.01 skills Belly Drum and Lava Sponge. Belly Drum halves your HP for stat buffs and will kill you at 10 HP — not a beginner button.

Step 6 — Ignore the noise

  • Codes: none. See how to redeem.
  • Scripts: most auto-farm GUIs died years ago. The scripts hub is optional and risky.
  • Hardcore: unlocks at 50 wins, drops you to 35 HP, disables Perks. Do not toggle it to “learn faster.”
  • Trello: does not exist. Follow Polyhex and the community links.

After two or three survived rounds, your bottleneck is not “how to play.” It is bomb literacy (beat bombs), economy (farm Credits), and whether you are ready for Intense servers. That is the whole onboarding path.
